The Lobeyl Foundation recently celebrated International Women's Day with a moving homage to the unsung heroes of our communities: the market women. It was a beautiful celebration of empowerment and resiliency. In an atmosphere of solidarity and empowerment, the Foundation organized a number of programs meant to improve and enhance the lives of these indispensable contributors. The day was filled with a plethora of carefully crafted activities meant to foster inclusion and a sense of strength. The program's core was a sincere dedication to helping women become financially literate since it understood that this was essential to their empowerment and economic independence.
